How does this work ?
Simply follow the steps for ordering with a digital image, the upload facility is very easy to use, however if you do need help, email an expert at info@myphotoexpert.com.au and we will get right back to you.
Once the order process is complete, the team get underway correcting, printing, finishing and packaging your masterpiece.

How long does it take before I receive my product?
The team here starts processing your order the same day it is received.
For quality control measures we dispatch all orders within 7-21 days. Urgent orders are also welcome however there is a surcharge for this service, please contact us for details.

Can I use a photo, negative or slide for a canvas print?
Of course you can! We are experienced at high resolution scanning and reproduction, feel free to send us your hard copy. Be sure to send via registered post, we would hate for any precious memories to go missing in the post!

Who is My Photo Expert?
Our young vibrant team has been reproducing photographs and keeping up with the trends for the past 20 years. We have been specialising in canvas prints for the past 8 years and are continually growing our range of display options for images.
We understand what it is our customers expect as we are used to providing our customers with exceptional face to face service from our storefront located on the Gold Coast.
Fly by nighters we are not, we are a well established ‘bricks and mortar’ business that has grown into the online world.

How big can I go with my image?
Pretty much as big as you like, My Photo Expert prints up to one metre wide and up to 6 metres long.
If you are unsure on the suitability or quality of your image, send the experts an email at info@myphotoexpert.com.au and we shall get back to you asap.
 
Can I use photos from my mobile phone?
Yes! The main problem we encounter with mobile phone images is the lack of a flash on some models, this can create a slightly blurry image. There are many tricks available to overcome this however. Send an expert an email at info@myphotoexpert.com.au and we will provide you with a proof before we go ahead and print!
 
I need ‘photoshopping’ done on my photo, is that ok?
The My Photo Expert team lives in ‘photoshop’! 
Simply select the ‘expert’ option and provide a brief description of what work you would like done in the comments section and we will send you a proof of the work to make sure you are happy with the result before we print.
 
Can I have my photo in Black and White or Sepia?
Of course! Simply let us know in the comments section of your order and we will send a proof to get your ok before we print. There are many different effects the expert team can do. Have a search through our product page to get ideas.
 
How long will my canvas print last?
We are always keeping up to date with technology and supplies. The HP inks we use have been rated to last 200+ years and we only use materials from reputable companies in the US and Australia.  We use Epson and HP printers which are the leaders in the giclee printing market.
 
What is Giclee Printing?
Giclee in French means spray, this is the method used to apply up to 12 colours of archival pigment inks with an inkjet printer that is suitable to reproduce fine art museum pieces. There are numerous substrates that can be printed on such as photo papers, watercolour paper, coated paper, canvas, or artist textured vinyl.
 
What does copyright mean?
Copyright exists to protect the owner of the image (the person who took it) from anyone selling and/or using their image without their knowledge.
My Photo Expert respects the copyright laws and has the right to refuse the printing of orders if we think the laws have been breached.
 
How do I look after my canvas photo?
It’s really simple, just treat your canvas print as though it is a priceless painting.
Keep it dry and away from direct sunlight. For dusting all that is needed is a dry cloth to lightly sweep over the print.
 
 
What file format should I provide ?
My Photo Expert accepts TIFF, JPEG, PDF, RAW and most other formats.If you are using our ordering system online, please note only these files types will be accepted: tiff, jpeg and png.
